Weekly Global Challenge

The Weekly Summer Challenge has officially wrapped!

The sixth and final week ended on July 8, 2026. Thank you to everyone who participated, and congratulations to all of our winners.

We learned a lot from this experiment and how community-wide challenges like this could become a future Music League feature.

Week Six Theme: Songs for the Open Road

Pick a song that captures summer road trip vibes. Think windows down and the sun on your face. Whether you're cruising along the coast, winding through the countryside, or heading somewhere new on a vast open stretch, choose a song that fills the journey with energy, freedom, and possibility.

The new theme and last week's winners are posted Thursdays shortly after 10:00 AM CDT. Rounds close Wednesdays at 11:30 PM in your local time zone.

Archived Rules and Prizing:

How to Enter

  1. Add the Theme as a new round to your existing Weekly Global Challenge league OR create a new league titled Weekly Global Challenge, with this week's theme as your first round.
  2. Invite at least 5 players, including yourself.
  3. Set the league pace to Steady or Accelerated. This is required so rounds end on the correct weekly deadline. Leagues set to Speedy will not qualify.
  4. Set voting to close Wednesday at 11:30 PM (your local time zone).
  5. Make sure all players submit a song before the round closes.

Rounds still qualify if not every player votes.

You can play as many or as few weeks as you want. Each completed weekly round is its own entry into that week's drawing.

Tip: To make it easier to add themes each week, add placeholder rounds now and update the next one when each Thursday's theme is announced.

Winning & Prizes

Each week, we'll randomly select two qualifying leagues and award the League Admins.

Each winner receives:

  • 🎁 1 year of Music League Premium
  • 👕 A Music League t-shirt in Grey or Purple in your size. View t-shirt

That pretty much covers it!

The community's engagement here will directly shape whether and how community-wide challenges become a real feature in Music League.
